Showcasing the biodiesel value chain in motion, the Study Tour on the 18th September will visit Bio Óleo (Brazil’s largest crusher of castor seeds), Comanche Clean Energy (biodiesel production) as well as the brand new Petrobras Candeais biodiesel plant opened by President Lula da Silva on 27th July 2008.

 

Family agriculture underpins each stage of the chain and each site is strategically located to optimise logistics and efficiency of feedstock / biodiesel movement. Attendance is 100 € or 160 US $ per person including round bus trip, three site visits, breakfast and lunch.
